Can VP Candidate Tim Walz be fined and jailed for lying about his military service?
Walz’s stolen valor crime spree is so brazen that he even blames his DUI conviction on his military service — by claiming his hearing loss from artillery fire prevented him from hearing the verbal instructions for the field sobriety test he flunked. The state trooper who arrested and jailed Walz recently criticized Walz for lying about his drunk driving conviction. Predictably, the news media refuse to ask Walz how it is that hearing impairment causes one to exceed the permissible blood alcohol level for operating a motor vehicle on a public highway.

“You have lied your way through a political career launched on the foundation of a title you did not earn and combat deployments you did not take part in,” the former military service members in Congress charged. “There is no honor in lying about the nature of your service.”
“Repeatedly claiming to be a ‘Retired Command Sergeant Major‘ when you did not complete the requirements was not honorable,” they went on. “Nor was it honorable to claim to carry weapons ‘in war’ when you had not served in war, and abandoning the men and women under your leadership just as they were getting ready to deploy was certainly not honorable either.”
“To be blunt, when you falsely claim military service that did not happen and abandon your post, you diminish the real sacrifices made by veterans who did serve in combat,” they said.”
“Until you admit you lied to them, there is no way you can be trusted to serve as Vice President.”
“Should any who are not entitled to these honors have the insolence to assume the badges of them, they shall be severely punished.”

We, the undersigned, call on the Attorneys General and District Attorneys in applicable states to investigate and indict retired Master Sergeant Tim Walz for committing serial thefts of valor in violation of state law(s). Namely, it is now a matter of readily discoverable and irrefutable public record that Walz obtained campaign contributions and the emoluments of public office by causing his congressional campaigns, his gubernatorial campaigns, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign to defraud donors and mislead voters. Walz held himself out to be a retired Command Sergeant Major, fraudulently minted and distributed counterfeit “challenge coins” which bore that embellished rank, and falsely implied he earned the Combat Action Badge through fictitious service in Afghanistan and/or Iraq.
